The Choir strives to maintain a level of musical superiority in both choice and performance of repertoire. The youth’s abilities are developed, offering pupils the opportunity to share their passion for music. What the choir does that many people don’t notice is keeping the youth out of the streets.

 

The choir adds splendor to community events and contributes to the upliftment of historically disadvantages communities. Sound parent-participation through means of a supportive system is invaluable to the existence and functionally of the choir.

 

The choir represents Mpumalanga, both nationally and internationally, in such a way as to display the South African multicultural heritage in a responsible and balanced matter. Furthermore, to bring back and learn the beauty of choir music to the broader multi-racial public, young and old.

 

We envisage to rekindle the desire in the youth to sing choral and entertainment music by singing it in such a manner as to create the yearning in the hearts of the youth to be part of the chorus and the desire in the older generation to once again listen to the younger generation make this mellifluous music. To see ourselves on international stages and making our province Mpumalanga and our Country South Africa proud.
